Born in Glasgow and moved during the early 70’s to the concrete and steel of Cumbernauld’s brutalist architecture has influenced my work. This landscape has left a lasting legacy on my creative process which is apparent in my recent compositions.I moved to the artistic hub that is the East Neuk of Fife, the seascape of Crail has freed my creativity, and I am now on a journey of discovery. To cultivate this I have immersed myself in the local art clubs of St Andrews and Crail. And for the past 4 years I was a committee member of the Crail Art Festival and for three of those years was the Art exhibition co-ordinator. During that time I was working with a diverse group of artists, from enthusiastic amateurs to celebrated professionals. Working collaboratively, I helped them bring their own vision to the exhibition.I have continued my creative journey by enrolling at Dundee and Angus College and am working towards my HND in Contemporary Art Practice. I have now moved back to Central Scotland to a vibrant art scene with easy access to all that Glasgow and Edinburgh have to offer and I am continuing my journey by going to University in the autumn
